Hempstead Rd

In Fall 2025, I designed and hand-painted a typography-based interior mural (approximately 13' x 7') for one of Walnut Capital Management's apartment building laundry rooms on Hempstead Road in Squirrel Hill. I also managed project budgeting, materials selection, and timeline coordination.

The artwork was designed in Adobe Illustrator and I produced in-situ mockups in Photoshop. The final design resulted in a typographic piece representing a famous Mr. Rogers quote, "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood", and a 1920's inspired semi-circle pattern. To execute this piece, I made cardboard stencils that I traced in pencil and then painted onto the cinderblock wall.
